Luke Schroeder
Artistic expression has been central to Luke’s life ever since his early childhood in St. Louis, Missouri. The classroom became the playground for his doodling to emerge into an unexpected career. Luke studied advertising at the University of Missouri Journalism School. After cutting his teeth in the ad agency world for six years as an art director and senior designer, he decided to move to Crested Butte in 2020 to pursue his own artistic aspirations. Luke has found great joy working with the wonderful people of Crested Butte and their non profits such as HCCA and CB State Of Mind and most recently with the Gunnison Creative district’s Little Corner of Mexico Mural. His style is inspired by 60’s psychedelia, vintage zines, ski culture and mid century western art. Leading with his heart, Luke intends to spread joy, humor and levity through his art.
